The body can convert this inorganic mercury to an organic form once it has become absorbed into the bloodstream. Organic mercury accumulates due they body’s inability to process and eliminate it. Organic mercury is found in fish and also in produce, farm animals, processed grains, dairy products, and surface water sources.
