Potassium iodide was quickly made available to the general public and encouraged as a necessary part of diet and supplementation for those close to the Fukushima nuclear power plant. There is ample documentation to support the safe and effective use of zeolite for purposes of human detoxification. Numerous zeolites are found in nature; however, it is specifically Clinoptilolite zeolite which has been found to be useful for detoxification and to be safe for human consumption. Essentially, you want to choose a liquid product developed using a technology which cleans the zeolite first by heating it to a very high temperature for a period of several hours and then follows with a cooling period. The Clinoptilolite zeolite referenced in the paper is raw zeolite, which means it was not “cleaned” of toxins present in its cage-like structures, reducing absorption capacity.

The Clinoptilolite zeolite in  has undergone a proprietary process, micronized (reduced in size) to get into the bloodstream, and activated so that its cages are “cleaned” for maximum absorption of heavy metals and toxins.

Zeolite was used after the Chernobyl disaster – a huge amount (500,000 tons) of powdered zeolite was used in and around the Chernobyl reactors. It was used to decontaminate the reactors, people and the soil; reducing radiation as much as 95%. The majority of the zeolite was used for the construction of protective barriers and for agricultural applications in polluted areas. Children were fed cookies and biscuits laden with zeolite to help remove radiation from their bodies while dairy cows were also fed zeolite to remove radiation from their milk.

Zeolite is also used to detoxify contaminated lobster beds along the Atlantic seaboard and in cattle, swine, chicken and egg production where it significantly improves the health of the animals and eggs. It is also used in agriculture to prevent arsenic uptake by plants and sustained release of nitrogen and trace elements. Government studies show from 40% to 200% increase in farming yields when zeolite is used in fertilizer.

Radiation protection is becoming a big topic in wellness circles. Especially as governments look closer at nuclear power as a greener option to our reliance on fossil fuels. With nuclear power comes a risk of dangerous radiation accidents such as occurred after the Japan earthquake and tsunami in early 2011.

Can a little known porous crystal help you in a nuclear crisis?

A unique crystalline substance, pretty much unknown outside of scientific circles, and niche interest groups, could see a gain in popularity as nuclear fall out or radiation sickness becomes a concern. This substance, known as zeolite, has some unique properties that make it a viable aid in ridding the body of radiation once exposed. Radiation detox cold be a primary use for this substance.

Zeolites are naturally formed volcanic minerals with some very unique characteristics. They have a honeycomb-like framework of cavities and channels (often referred to as cages). The zeolite is one of the few negatively charged minerals in nature. These molecules behave like magnets, drawing heavy metals and radioactive particles to them, capturing them inside a molecular cage.

There are around 45 naturally occurring zeolites and over 100 man-made zeolites. There are also three different classes of zeolites with varying molecular chemical structures:

• Chain-like structures whose minerals needle-like, prism shaped crystals as found in asbestos.

• Framework structures where the crystal shapes are more equal in dimensions as found in chabazite.

• Sheet-like flattened structures as found in clinoptilolite.

Zeolites have been used in practice in many industrial applications in the past, and more recently as a dietary supplement due to its extraordinary ability for trapping, heavy metals and toxins.

The actual Clinoptilolite Zeolite molecule is shaped like a honey-comb and has a natural negative (-) charge. When this type of Zeolite is ingested into the body many of the positively charged (+) heavy metals, toxins, and harmful chemicals such as nitrosamines bond with the zeolite and are flushed out through the urine within 6-8 hours.

How does this translate into something practical when faced with a potential nuclear fallout?

The zeolite molecules, acting like a magnet with a negative charge, grab on to the radioactive particles which have a positive charge. This means that if you have ingested or absorbed radioactive particles, the zeolite can be ingested and potentially find and grab on to those particles and remove them safely through excretion.

Has zeolite been used effectively? Absolutely, zeolite has been scattered on radioactive spills to aid in clean up, and zeolite has been given to people orally to help internally. In fact, during the aftermath of the most famous nuclear disaster of all time at Chernobyl, zeolite was given to children and adults who had been exposed to radioactive particulate.

There are a number of zeolite products for ingestion available on the market in powder, capsule and suspension form. Although I have my preference, and have the knowledge and resources to have planned ahead, that may not be the case in crisis.

If you are reading this and you have time to plan, then do your research on liquid zeolite to make sure you are getting the best product available. If you do not have any time, then scour natural food or health stores, or head online to order any and as much zeolite dietary supplement as you can. Using zeolite along with iodine could very well mean the difference between sickness and relative health, for people who survive a nuclear accident.

Zeolite is emerging as an excellent radiation protection agent.

Although the United States is one of the most progressive countries in the world, the fact is it ranks in the top three countries in the world with the highest cancer rates for both men and women.

The very aspects of modern life that were intended to made life easier are actually  making life more dangerous!

Of 70,000 chemicals being used in the United States, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) considers 65,000 of them to either be potentially or certainly hazardous to our health.

A common cause of mercury toxicity is dental fillings (amalgams).  These can contain up to 50% mercury!  Who has not had dental fillings done at some point in their life?

While we do have plenty to eat, most of our food is of very poor quality as our soils are becoming more depleted and is lacking in trace minerals.

After World War II, the chemicals produced by wartime manufacturers became the raw material for producing fertilizers.  Although looking normal, these fertilizers created weak plants, which were preyed on by pests, which necessitated the need for more pesticides!

As a result our food is laced with pesticides.  Studies have shown that these pesticides penetratrate the skin of  fruit and vegetables, but right into the meat of the fruit and vegetables.

We are living in a very toxic world, and no matter how health conscious we are we are exposed to chemicals every day.

What Can We Do?

• drink purified or distilled water

Many  people are not aware of  the potential dangers of heavy metal poisons and just how common they are in our modern world.  Since you are reading this article, I'm guessing you are one person who does understand the real risks.  Thankfully there are steps we can take to minimize such threats by education,  prevention, and treatment with the liquid zeolite to minimize the negative impact on you and your family’s health.

Inorganic mercury is used in such things as thermometers, dental fillings, batteries, electrical wiring and switches, fluorescent light bulbs, pesticides, vaccines, paint, skin-tightening creams, antiseptic creams, pharmaceutical drugs, and other skin care.  The body can convert this inorganic mercury to an organic form once it has become absorbed into the bloodstream. Organic mercury accumulates   due they body’s inability to process and eliminate it.  Organic mercury is found  in fish and also in produce, farm animals, processed grains, dairy products, and surface water sources.

Liquid zeolite is the only product I know of that removes heavy metals and toxins from the body without any side effects.  Some people have used colon cleansers but this only eliminates what is in the intestine.  Toxins can and are elsewhere in the body.

There is a lot of informattion on the Internet about liquid  Zeolite these days and you may be finding some of it confusing.  Here are the two main authors of zeolite ebooks and what I think of each of them.

Shelley Penney is a retired Registered Nurse that has written a free ebook on liquid zeolite which explains which brand of zeolite you should use, what exactly it does and why this information is so important to you,  It's free and I suggest downloading it below.  I know Shelley personally and can tell you she has done a LOT of research and will steer you in the right direction.   There is just one brand of zeolite she recommends and her ebook can save you a lot of work and frustration. 

Robert Sopias is all over the internet  writing about cancer fighting strategies and wrote a report called "11 Natural Therapies to Conquer Cancer".  Robert is honest enough to state he  has no health background, but he calls himself a "health consultant".  It's up to the reader to decide what that means, but for sure he is not a health professional.   One thing to keep in mind is the  "health regiment"  recommended by Robert will cost thousands of dollars. This is totally unnecessary.  He also recommends zeolite with DHQ and I can tell you that zeolite does NOT need anything added to it!  In fact, by doing this, you are getting something you don't need….. the DHQ…. and getting less of  what you really need….. the zeolite!   DHQ is not bad,  in fact it's an antioxidant that can help us….. but we only need the pure liquid zeolite to do the job it is supposed to do, which is remove heavy metals and toxins from the body.

What I suggest is doing your homework.  There are many alternative health products that have good benefits but only liquid zeolite removes heavy metals and toxins safely and with no  side effects.  Remember that no supplement cures anything but that your body can heal when given the proper tools.  Liquid Zeolite is for detoxification.   By doing so the immune system can go to work and do whatever is needed when it doesn't have to deal with the toxins instead.
